Live, love, laugh and eat.

I'm a Dutch Brit, wife, mother and food enthusiast. As well as running an own business. I have started this blog to share my love of food. I enjoy good healthy food and can quite happily spend all day in the kitchen but can also make meals in minutes. As much as I love cooking, there are limits...in my opinion life is too short for peeling tomatoes!

Over mij

Mijn foto
A Dutch Brit
Katwijk, Zuid Holland, Netherlands
Once upon a time there was a girl that visited a far away land, fell in love... No. It isn't a fairytale; even in such a flat country life still has its ups and downs. Home is indeed where the heart is but even in a country with such an abundance of flowers life isn't always a bed of roses; square peg in a round hole springs to mind or in my case English rose living in fields of tulips! It's strange but after living in this country for more years than my homeland I still feel a little bit 'foreign'. I proudly hold the Dutch nationality without having to renounce anything but having said that my 'own' country no longer feels like 'home'. I think many can relate to this. It has been a journey of finding my place but also finding myself, a learning curve searching for the perfect recipe of life. My method: LIVE your life without regret, follow your heart, believe LOVE will overcome all obstacles, LAUGH out loud and EAT yourself healthy.
